Tribute Festival - BUCK-TICK

Hello, all you dangerous no-no boys and girls!

If you happen to be in the Tokyo area at the end of June, you may want to bring yourself to Shinjuku Marz on June 27. Why? Because you just can't miss Five Star Factory Presents BUCK-TICK - Kyokutou yori Ai wo Komete -, a special tribute concert for none other than the one and only BUCK-TICK.

Six bands will each be performing a set of BUCK-TICK songs, ranging from the old to the new. And each audience member will receive a special sticker (YAY STICKERS!). Cosplay, wear black, or do a magical transformation into Imai. Either way, it's sure to be a smashing time.

You don't have to register beforehand, but I highly recommend it since this event could sell out. Plus it's cheaper to register online, but you still just need to pay at the door. Registration is on the site linked above (Japanese only, but if anyone needs instructions, let me know). I'm pretty sure it's all ages because I've seen signs at that club saying the place cards after 10 p.m.

Is anyone interested in going? It would be cool to have a buddy or two to BiTch out with, though I've been to these types of things alone before. :D

Not only does that sound fun, but it also happens to be my day off... if I can swing it, I'd love to come!!

Ooh, it's that cheap?! Wow... it's kinda hard to pass up when it's that reasonable. Think I can still make the last train back to Chiba afterward? If so, then I'd better get my ass there!

Oh definitely. The show starts at 17:00, which means they're not counting on an all-night thing. I can't say for sure, but it'll probably end before 23:00.

Oh that's right, that's the wonderful double-edged sword that is Japanese concertgoing... they start really bloody early... which is nice when it's your day off, but crap if you have to work in the evenings, like I do.

So should I send you a message to get registration instructions? And maybe we could meet up and grab some dinner nearby before the show, if you're game?

Yeah, it blows when you have to work. I usually skip out early if I have to. (bwaha)

I'll give you instructions right now for how to register. Click the link above and scroll down to チケット予約。 Hit the gray button (チケット予約申し込みフォーム). The first box is for your name (you can put a nickname). Second and third is email (same address). Fourth you just need to scroll down and choose the only option there. Fifth is how many tickets you want to reserve. Then hit the left button (送信) and you're done. You should get a confirmation email.

I'm totally up for dinner before! Maybe we could get a whole group together. I'll see how many people are interested.

Okay, I fail at timely response, but I did reserve a ticket, so I'm planning on going! Yey panda! (Well, as soon as I get the confirmation email, then I guess I'll rejoice. Hopefully it doesn't mind that I used my cellphone email...)

I wish I could skip out on work early sometimes, but unfortunately, that's not an option for me... oh well, this is on my day off, so it's all good! Keep me posted on the plans -- shall we swap phone emails or something? By the by, should we be LJ friends, since I don't think we are? ^^/
